Build for the operators.
Ship what they actually need.
TBN is a small, deliberately narrow software team inside The Big Brand Network. We build focused operational systems for Indian hospitality — and we hire people who care more about the shift the software runs than the sprint it was planned in.
What we're hiring for right now.
No live openings right now.
We are between hiring cycles. We keep the team intentionally small and only open roles when we know exactly what we need. That said — if you'd be a strong fit for what TBN builds, we'd rather hear from you before we're hiring than miss you when we are.
The four things we hire on.
You don't need to check every box, but the strongest hires here tend to show most of these. Titles and years matter less than these traits.
You have run something operationally — even briefly
A shift, a kitchen, a front desk, a delivery run, a shop floor. You've felt what a 20-second delay does to a customer at 9pm. That instinct is expensive to teach and cheap to hire for.
You ship
Not "in the plan." Not "in the sprint." Shipped, running, in front of a real user, this month. You are visibly happier when something is live than when it is documented.
You write clearly
Slack, PRDs, bug reports, error messages. Precision in writing tracks with precision in thought, and half of building software is deciding what not to build. That decision is in writing.
You own the whole line
Design to deploy to the support ticket at 11pm. We do not have specialists arguing over hand-offs. If it broke and you built it, you fix it — and you'll be paid to.
The parts of the offer that aren't a paycheck.
Real ownership
Ship what you build. Your name goes on the release notes. If the release is bad, you get to fix it. If it's good, you get to say so.
Small team, wide role
The team is deliberately small. That means bigger scope per person, faster decisions, and no organisational tax on the day-to-day.
Flexible time
We measure output, not chair-time. Deep-work blocks are protected. Meetings only when async doesn't work.
Health cover
Standard medical insurance for you and dependants. Nothing weird here — we just want you not thinking about hospital bills.
Learning budget
Course, conference, book, subscription — if it makes you better at what you ship, we cover it. No forms to file per line item.
Direct access to leadership
No layers between you and whoever runs the product. Every hire meets the founder in week one and keeps that line open after.
The pitch we actually read.
Skip the covering letter. Send us these four things.
1. One line about who you are and what you'd want to build here.
2. One link to something you shipped — code, a product, a piece of writing, a spreadsheet, whatever.
3. One paragraph on an operational problem you've solved (any domain — a shift, a stall, a school event, a small business).
4. Your notice period and a rough compensation expectation, so we're not both wasting time.
