Three generations of hospitality.
One software team.
Folio wasn't drawn on a whiteboard by product managers who'd never worked a hotel floor. Our family has been in Indian hospitality for three generations — grandfather, father, and now us — running and operating properties across formats and regions.
Somewhere along the way, we became entrepreneurs and technologists too. Which meant we started noticing the same gap everywhere: the software our own front desks used was excellent at the front-of-house, and completely silent about everything that happened after the guest walked into their room.
Room service orders on notebook pages. Dues tracked in a WhatsApp chat. Bills reconstructed at checkout from memory. Not because owners didn't care — because no one had built the layer.
We built Folio the way we would have wanted it in our own properties: staff-first, owner-honest, and operational under any conditions — patchy internet, power cuts, staff turnover, month-end audits. Every feature answers a question one of us had asked as an operator first.
